RICHLAND, Wash.- Department of Energy leaders now say they may be able to restart full construction on Hanford's Waste Treatment Plant before the previously declared October 1, 2007 date.
John Eschenberg, who manages the project for DOE, says if all goes well, they could start early.
Eschenberg is awaiting results on the plant's high-level and pretreatment facilities to see if new designs make them fit seismically.
