EVASNVILLE, Indiana - Dave Villwock was on his way to winning Heat 3-A in Evansville when something went wrong on the final lap. After Villwock cleared turn 1, Jean Theoret in the U-37 Miss Seattle apparently barrel-rolled his boat.
Theoret popped the cockpit. He's OK.
But the boat's not. There's a hole in the right sponson. They're done for the day.
There was a lengthy delay as they had to rescue the boat as it started taking on water.
