Powerball Jackpot Rolls to $320 Million

Posted: Updated:

OLYMPIA, Wash. – On Wednesday, March 20, the Powerball jackpot rolled over to $320 million. That's enough money to buy every resident in Garfield County (2,250) a brand new seaplane (up to $100,000).

The Powerball jackpot has only reached $320 million or more four other times since Washington joined the game in January 2010. It reached $325 million on February 11, 2012; $320 million on August 15, 2012; $325 million on November 24, 2012; and $550 million on November 28, 2012.

The next drawing will take place this Saturday, March 23, at 8:00 p.m., and Washington's Lottery has imagined what a Washingtonian could do if they won the $320 million jackpot.

  • Fly to Hawaii on a first-class non-stop flight (up to $2,000) and pay for every resident in Skagit County (117,400) to come along.
  • Buy baseball season tickets (up to $3,000) for every resident in Cowlitz County (102,700).
  • Buy 8,800 Dutch Lily bulbs (Up to $ .50 each) for every resident in Chelan County (72,700) to plant this spring.

If the Powerball jackpot winner is from Washington, the retailer that sold the ticket will receive a $50,000 selling bonus. To learn more about Washington's Lottery and to review all up-to-date winning numbers, please visit walottery.com.
