Former Washington Governor Booth Gardner has died.
Gardner was 76 years old. His family says he died of complications from Parkinson's disease at his Tacoma home Friday.
He served two terms as governor from 1985 to 1992. He was the state's 19th governor.
His funeral will be private, but a public memorial is being planned in Tacoma. Gardner's family requests that memorial donations be made to the Northwest Parkinson's Foundation.
