MSN.COM - Don't you just hate it when you buy property that turns out to house a
gay sauna? That's exactly what happened to the Vatican. In 2008, the
Holy See purchased a $29.9 million share in a Rome apartment block that,
the Italian press has now revealed, houses Europa Multiclub.
It's
billed as Europe's largest gay sauna, and frequently throws "bear
nights." (If you don't know what that means, ask your gay friends). What
an embarrassing and obviously completely unintentional slip-up this is
for the Vatican! The block contains 19 Vatican apartments, many of which
house priests — who have absolutely, definitely, never ever popped into
that awful place downstairs.
