State Senate Approves Bill to Increase Insurance Options

OLYMPIA, Wash. - People in Washington could soon be able to purchase health-care insurance from companies in other states.

The state Senate passed a bill Friday that would require the state Office of the Insurance Commission to identify other states to contract with in the establishment of "reciprocity agreements" to offer insurance across state lines

The bill now moves to the house for further consideration.
