TYLER, Wash. - Spokane County Firefighters were called to a structure fire just east of the town of Tyler Monday afternoon.
Crews arrived on scene to a home near Ritchey & Watt Rd west of Cheney to find the house fully engulfed in flames. The owner told firefighters they were using the turn-of-the-century home to grow flowers for their son's wedding. The owners told KHQ this may have had something to do with the cause.
Because of the intensity of the flames, firefighters left it up to the homeowner whether or not they wanted them to try and put it out before it was totally destroyed, but the decision was made to just let it burn out.
No injuries were reported.
