RICHLAND, Wash., -- A man is in jail after Richland Police officers chased him on foot following reports of domestic violence assault.
Officers arrested 35-year-old Isidro Iniesta-Martinez Saturday evening on charges of assault in the 2nd degree and resisting arrest.
Officers were called to a report of domestic violence assault but Iniesta-Martinez was nowhere to be found.
Police were called again to same residence after dispatchers say screaming could be heard over the phone, and that Iniesta-Martinez had a knife; then the phone line went dead.
When Officers arrived on scene, Iniesta-Martinez tried to run away but was soon after arrested.
Iniesta-Martinez was booked into the Benton County Jail.
