The Spokane Chiefs won their 3rd straight game as Brenden Kichton's two goals led the Chiefs to a 4-1 win over the Everett Silvertips Wednesday night in Everett. With the win, Spokane moved within 1 point of 4th place Tri City in the Western Conference and 7 points ahead of 6th place Victoria.

The Chiefs took a 1-0 lead on Carter Proft's 8th goal of the season from Mikulas Rimmel and Jeremy McIntosh at 15:20 of the first period. Everett would even the game 59 seconds later on a Ryan Harrison goal. Spokane would take the lead for good on Kichton's first goal of the night with just .5 seconds left in the first. The power play goal was Kichton's 19th of the season and was assisted by Blake Gal and Mitch Holmberg and made it 2-1 Spokane after one.

Todd Fiddler's 40th goal of the year from Gal at 18:11 of the second period would put the Chiefs up 3-1 after two periods. Fiddler joined Drayson Bowman, Kyle Beach and Tyler Johnson as Chiefs to score 40 or more goals since the 2007-08 season. Kichton would cap the scoring with his second goal of the night from Reid Gow and Jackson Playfair at 7:28 of the third period. The goal was Kichton's 20th goal of the season, the third straight season he has reached that mark.

Garret Hughson picked up 25 saves for his 3rd straight win. Spokane outshot Everett 29-26, while going 1-3 on the power play and 3-3 on the penalty kill. Spokane will continue the road trip with back to back games in Victoria against the Royals Friday and Saturday nights. Mike Boyle will have the call both nights on 1510 KGA, with the pre-game show at 6:30pm and the puck drop at 7:05pm.
