If you were in Columbia Park over President's Day weekend, you probably noticed hundreds of vehicles there as well.
About 1,000 vehicles from McCurley Integrity Dealerships filled up the normally quiet park for their annual sale. The massive display attracts a lot of attention , but it's no easy task getting the cars there and back.
"McCurley donates to each club that supplies 11 members or 11 drivers. I think it's around $600 or $700 to our club," said volunteer Karlene Keyes.
It took about 100 volunteers to move the cars in about three and a half hours. In return, McCurley donates to various charity groups the volunteers are involved with. The volunteers moved 1,100 cars at the start of the event, and then returned about 900 cars Monday evening. About 200 cars were sold during the event.
