Five Injured in Saturday Night's Crash Near Toppenish

TOPPENISH, Wash.--Six people went to the hospital after a three car collision near Toppenish Saturday night.

29-year-old Alvino Leon of Mabton was driving southbound down State Route 22 around 9 p.m. when he hit another southbound vehicle near Branch Road.

That car was pushed into the opposite lane, colliding with another vehicle.

Washington State Patrol said drugs or alcohol may have played a factor in the crash, and charges are pending.
