KENNEWICK, Wash.- Prosecutors will lay out their evidence this week in the trial of a bar bouncer charged with assault.
Attorneys Monday started interviewing potential jurors out of a pool of about 50 people.
Prosecutors say Matthew Hibbard, 41, used excessive force against a patron at Jack Didley's bar.
Ben Ensign, 31, suffered several skull fractures and continues rehabilitation treatment.
Hibbard claims self defense.
According to court documents, Ensign had gone to the bar with friends on July 4. Management asked him to leave after Ensign caused a disturbance. He later returned and was confronted by Hibbard and another security guard, who carried him out of the bar and dropped him on the concrete sidewalk.
