Bilingual Exhibit set to open Friday

Posted: Updated:

RICHLAND, Wash., -- A unique traveling exhibit is set to debut this Friday at the CREHST Museum in Richland.

"A View from Space" opens this Friday and it's the first bilingual (Spanish and English) exhibit ever at the museum.

Funds to build the traveling exhibit were provided by NASA.  The exhibit teaches the importance of satellites, what the earth looks like from space and how weather patterns influence the way our world looks to us.

"The best way to see this exhibit is for parents to come with their children and go through and read the things with them," says Rosalie Faubion.  "If the parents know this material already, it's a great opportunity to teach the kids while they're looking at the different exhibits."

The exhibit is open Friday, January 25th through May 18th.
Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for students and seniors.
