WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Police have arrested a teenager officers
believe took part in a New Year's gang attack.
A SWAT team rushed a rental property on West Chestnut early
Wednesday morning and arrested Mario Diaz Jr.,
19.
Police say Diaz and about 15
other gang members confronted two men early New Year's Day and after asking
them about their gang affiliations began hitting them.
One of the men say Diaz held a gun
to his chest and ordered him not to move while he was being kicked to the head
and torso.
Police say neither of the victims have ties to gangs.
Diaz
has been booked into Walla Walla County Jail.
