KENNEWICK, Wash.- It is not too late to make the jump Saturday, January 19th in this year's Annual Polar Plunge in Kennewick to benefit the Special Olympics.
It is a once a year opportunity to join the Kennewick Police Department and hundreds of your fellow Tri-Citians to plunge into the frigid Columbia river for a great cause.
To help beat the plunge day crowds, swing by the Kennewick Police department Friday from noon to 8 PM and volunteers there will get you all set up.
And for those who have already registered, you can stop by and pick up your wrist bands and t-shirts then.
The weather's going to be great...the water temps going to be great...we've got lots of new things that we're unveiling this year...There's nothing else going on Saturday. Come on down," said Kennewick Police Sgt. Randy Maynard.
And for those already registered you can stop by and pick up your wrist bands and t-shirts. The only wait you will have Saturday is waiting to plunge off the dock.
