Gunman Robs Kittitas Public Library - NBC Right Now/KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA |

ELLENSBURG, Wash. - Ellensburg Police are searching for a suspect they say robbed the Kittitas Public Library Tuesday afternoon.

Officers say the librarian was alone when an armed man approached her and demanded money. He left with about $20 in cash and the librarian's wallet. The man had a hood cinched up around his face.

Investigators say they searched the area with a police dog but the gunman got away.

Police say the librarian was calm through the incident and remembered details that help with the investigation.
