YAKIMA, Wash.-- With more people shopping online, the Consumer Fraud Center says scammers took more than two billion dollars from shoppers this holiday season.
They also saw an especially large spike in counterfeit and fake good sales through legitimate web sites like Amazon.com.
If you got scammed, make sure you dispute the charge with PayPal or your cardholder.
You should also report the fraud to the Internet Crime Complaint Center on their website, here.
