Minimum Wage in Washington & Oregon to Increase

WASHINGTON & OREGON -- Minimum wage in Washington will go up on January 1st from $9.04 to $9.19 an hour.


That rate will give Washington the highest minimum wage in the country and $2 above the federal minimum wage of $7.25.

Oregon's minimum wage will climb 15 cents to $8.95 an hour, making it the second highest minimum wage rate in the country behind Washington.
