Coats for Kids Challenge is Record Setting Success

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Annual Coats for Kids School Challenge was a record setting success this year.

On Tuesday, NBC Right Now visited Ruth Livingston Elementary in Pasco to present them with the trophy for the 5th straight year.

The kids at Ruth Livingston collected more than 1,000 coats this year. They are the first school to top the 1,000 coat mark.

On Tuesday, Kadlec Regional Medical Center presented the school with a $500 check for the school's parent-teacher organization.
