Wind, snow cause Lake Wenatchee power outage

Posted: Updated:

WENATCHEE, Wash., - Utility officials say it could be another 24 hours before the power comes back on for 3,200 customers living in the Lake Wenatchee, Plain and Coles Corner areas of Chelan County.

High winds and heavy snowfall knocked out the power Monday afternoon for PUD customers.

Due to trees across the highway, the state Department of Transportation has closed Highway 207 from Highway 2 to the Chumstick Highway.
