Kennewick Man Dies in Fatal Accident in Kittitas County

CLE ELUM, Wash. -- A Kennewick man is dead after a fatal accident in Kittitas County tonight.

38-year-old Cristoval Martinez of Kennewick was driving eastbound on Interstate 90, just 8 miles east of Cle Elum, when he lost control in the snow and slush. Martinez swerved into the second lane and drove under a semi in the second lane.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi was not hurt.

The accident is still under investigation.
