Pasco Home Swallowed by Tumbleweeds - NBC Right Now/KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA |

PASCO, Wash. - A problem often seen when high winds kick up is massive piles of tumbleweeds.

A woman called NBCRightNow from inside the home along the 4,000 block of Mojave Drive in Pasco saying she was trapped.

Her husband was able to get out the back door and jump a fence but Liz Gossett is disabled.

She said she has lived there for 30 years and has never seen the weeds pile up so high.

Liz said one of her neighbors is a farmer and may bring in some equipment to help clear the tumbleweeds.
