ELLENSBURG, Wash. - Four people are recovering after a fatal crash near Ellensburg over the weekend.
The Washington State Patrol says five young adults had been driving on I-90 in Kittitas County, 17 miles east of Ellensburg Sunday afternoon, when the car went off the road and flipped.
Troopers say 18-year-old Austin M. Scott of Lake Forest Park died in the crash. Paramedics brought the driver and three other passengers, all 18 or 20 years old, to the hospital.
Troopers say the driver had been going too fast for the icy conditions and lost control.
