RICHLAND, Wash. - The Richland School Board held a closed door meeting Friday that lasted about 90 minutes.
The agenda for the executive session listed 'personnel, legal, real estate and negotiations.'
KNDU-TV asked school board president Rick Jansons if 'personnel' included Superintendent Jim Busey. Busey was placed on paid administrative leave Monday after allegations of having an inappropriate relationship with a district staff member.
"Right now we anticipate this coming to a close quickly and we are working with all due dilligence. We want to protect certainly the employee's rights and determine the facts," Jansons said.
Jansons said he could not comment further on any personnel matters.
