PORTLAND,
Ore. – The Clackamas County Sheriff says the man who opened fire inside Clackamas
Town Center used a stolen rifle from someone he knew.
Sheriff Craig Roberts
says Jacob Tyler Roberts, 22, armed himself with an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle
and had several fully loaded magazines. Deputies say the rifle jammed during
the attack, but he managed to get it working again.
Two people were fatally shot
and a third wounded before Deputies say Roberts shot himself.
The sheriff says Roberts
fired at random and didn't have a prior criminal record.
A spokesperson at Oregon Health and Science University Hospital says the
one person wounded in the shooting, Kristina Shevchenko, is in serious
condition.
