RICHLAND, Wash.- Pasco's Ruth Livingston Elementary School gets the trophy for the fifth year in our "Coats for Kids" School Challenge.
For the last couple of months, 15 schools around the Tri-Cities have been challenging one another to collect the most coats for our "Coats for Kids."
A total of 3,400 coats were collect from the school challenge and donated to the Salvation Army.
Ruth Livingston Elementary brought in 1.013 coats alone.
Kadlec Regional Medical Center is awarding Ruth Livingston Elementary with $500 and each school that brought in more than 100 coats will receive a $200 check.
