OLYMPIA, Wash. - An Olympia bar known for allowing patrons to smoke cigarettes for an annual fee is now letting people smoke marijuana inside.
The bar's owner, Frank Schnarrs has battled state regulators and won, over allowing smoking customers to have access to a closed-in area more than 25 feet from the entrances to his downstairs bar.
Customers pay $10 a year for access to the "Friends of Frankie" room, where they can smoke.
Schnarrs says he thinks allowing marijuana smokers will bring new revenue to his business.
