Stabbing in Walla Walla

Posted: Updated:

WALLA WALLA, Wash. - Gang Detectives from the Walla Walla Police Department's Special Teams Unit are investigating an early morning stabbing.

Detectives said a 20-year-old man was walking the area of 7th and Myrtle around 3AM this morning, when he was confronted by 2 Hispanic men who asked him what gang he belongs to.

They said this lead to name calling and a fight between the 3 subjects. At some point during the fight, the victim raised his arm to block the knife and was stabbed through the left hand.

The victim then ran off and was later taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injury.
