It was a short stint as head coach for Jason Gesser, as he said goodbye to friends and fans on Wednesday.
Gesser, through Twitter, thanked athletic director Rob Spear and his former boss, Robb Akey for the opportunity.

He followed that up by wishing the new coach and his staff the best of luck going forward.
