SUNNYSIDE, Wash. - A convicted felon and gang member is facing more charges after police arrested him on a felony warrant Tuesday morning.
Police said the Sunnyside Gang Unit went to an apartment in the 100 block of W. Edison Ave after being notified that a suspect wanted for homicide may be staying there.
When they arrived, officers said they did not find the homicide suspect but they did find 20-year-old Joshue Sarabia.
Police said Sarabia was wanted for committing a felony and he also has three domestic violence protection orders against him. The orders protected a woman who was also at the apartment.
After arresting Sarabia, police said they searched the apartment and found two handguns, one with an altered serial number. Officers said they also found methamphetamine in the home.
