RICHLAND, Wash. - A man from Pasco is in the hospital in Seattle after Troopers say he ran across highway 240 and got hit by a car.
The Washington State Patrol says 20 year old Adalberto Barragan from Pasco was running across westbound SR 240 at milepost 38 near Columbia Center Boulevard, just before 5 on Tuesday morning when he was hit by a Toyota Camry, and went through the car's windshield. Paramedics airlifted him to Harborview in Seattle.
Troopers say the driver, 19 year old Colton Jones was also injured in the crash. Paramedics brought him to Kennewick General Hospital.
