CHENEY, Wash. -

The Eastern Eagles are on to the FCS quarterfinals with a convincing win over Wagner last Saturday on the red turf at Roos Field.

The Eagles trailed the Seahawks 19-14 late in the third quarter but rattled off 15 unanswered points to get their first win of the postseason.

"We just respond, that's our word and we talk about it all the time: respond, respond, respond," said coach Beau Baldwin after Saturday's game. "We don't jerk react to things, We don't panic."

The Eagles will host Illinois State on Saturday. The Redhawks boast the top passing game in the Missouri Valley Conference, throwing for an average of 253 yards per game – 25th in the FCS. BY way of comparison, however, Eastern Washington is the ninth-best passing team in the FCS, averaging 301 yards per game.

Saturday's game is a 3 p.m. kickoff. It can be seen live online through ESPN3 (no TV).
