PASCO, Wash. – Mid-Columbia Libraries is ready to turn the page on its newest branch in the Tri-Cities.
Workers on Thursday will put the roof on the library under construction at the corner of Road 76 and Wrigley Drive in West Pasco.
The new branch will include more than 6,000 square feet and feature Eastern Washington's first full-service library drive-through for convenient returns and pick-ups.
Mid-Columbia Libraries says it has invested more than $200,000 in the library's opening day collection of books and items.
Librarians will open the new branch early next year.
