$14 million expansion of Pasco hay export plant

PASCO, Wash., - A Japanese company is investing $14 million in the expansion of a hay storage and hay cubing operation at the Port of Pasco's industrial park.

The company, Zen-Noh Hay, ships compressed hay cubes to dairy and beef cattle farmers in Japan and other parts of Asia.

About a third of the hay grown in Washington is exported, mostly to Asia.
