PASCO, Wash. - You can get your holiday gifts wrapped for free and make a donation to a good cause at the same time.
Volunteers from the Faith Center International Ministries Church are wrapping people's gifts they bring in to Griggs Hardware Store in Pasco. Donations go towards purchasing gifts for community members in need.
The chosen recipients get to pick up the gifts for their family before Christmas Day.
"Last year we gave away almost 300 toys, lots of bikes, gift cards, food baskets, a week before Christmas. This offsets basically what we're doing. Giving back to the community. The community gives to us here and we give back to those that are really in need," said Pastor Andrew Ramirez.
This is the eighth year of the gift program. Last year they raised $2,500. You can bring in your gifts to be wrapped Thursday through Sunday and starting December 10th, they'll be there from open to close.
