Yakima, WASH.--The Yakima Valley Company is putting on a Christmas performance this year that is both entertaining and educational.
"The Rented Christmas" is a play with a message. The cast said it encourages people to be open to adopting and fostering kids in need.
During performances, the audience is encouraged to donate new pajamas for local foster children.
"You should be kind to foster and adopted kids because there will be some that are mean because they feel like they have a horrible life," said Caleb Coscarart, an actor in the play.
"The Rented Christmas" will have two performances on Saturday and Sunday at the Seasons Performance Hall. The show starts at 2 p.m.
