SEATTLE, Wash. - Seattle police say a woman motorist who struck two teenage girls has turned herself in.

Witnesses say the girls were walking near Chief Sealth High School Wednesday morning when a dog ran up and jumped on one of them so she pushed it away. Witnesses say the dog's owner became enraged and intentionally drove her car into the girls.

Police say one girl was treated at a local hospital and then allowed to go home. The other girl was more seriously hurt but is expected to make a full recovery.

Amy Lynn O'Brien, 37, turned herself in Thursday afternoon and booked on felony assault charges.
