Canadian Citizen Surrenders to the FBI in Washington

WASHINGTON. - On Thursday 39-year-old Jeanette Rubin from Canada, surrendered to the Federal Bureau of Investigation at the international border in Blaine, Washington.

The Justice Department said Rubin is being charged as being part of a conspiracy with 12 other people involving 20 acts of arson from 1996 to 2001 across five western states, committed by self-proclaimed members of the Earth Liberation Front (ELF) and the Animal Liberation Front (ALF). 20

They said This is the largest eco-terrorism case in the United States history and Rubin is being transferred to Oregon to face trial.
