SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- West Valley junior wing Jake Love poured in a game-high 33 points as the Eagles soared to an 86-50 season opening win over North Central on Wednesday night. Senior Tyler Stavnes added 19 points in the win, as the 2A Eagles routed the 3A Indians in non-conference play. North Central trailed by just two points after the first quarter, but Love keyed a 32-12 Eagle explosion in the second quarter to pull away on their home court.
