MOSES LAKE, Wash. - The Grant County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a robbery.

Sheriff's deputies say on Monday, November 26th around 6:30 PM, deputies responded to a robbery on Shaw St. NE in Moses Lake.

When deputies arrived, they say a 63 year old man from Moses Lake told them he was a taxi driver and that he had just been robbed and assaulted.

The man told deputies he had just arrived to pick up a fare, when a large black male and a skinny Hispanic male got into his vehicle, grabbed him around the neck, held a knife to his head and demanded his wallet.  The taxi driver told deputies as soon as he gave it to them, the two men ran off between some nearby houses. Deputies say the man wasn't hurt, but he was shaken up by the whole ordeal.
