KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Tri-Cities Cancer Center is teaming up with the Kennewick Fire Department to help a Kennewick area family in need of assistance during the holiday season.
The Kennewick Firefighters and Police Officers are organizing the 7th Annual Police vs. Fire Community Charity Basketball Event.
The money raised from the event goes toward utility payments, food, toys, household goods, clothes, and other goods to families in Kennewick.
The Tri-Cities Cancer Center said this year they hope to raise over $10,000 through community attendance and generosity.
The game starts at 7PM on December 5th in the Kennewick High School Gymnasium. Organizers are asking for a donation upon entry.
