Skiers take advantage of early snow - NBC Right Now/KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA |

STEVENS PASS, Wash. - Workers at Stevens Pass say about people are already taking advantage of the early snow.

The ski resort says about 700 people went skiing and snowboarding on Tuesday, November 20th at Stevens Pass, the first ski area in Washington to open for the winter. Workers say more lifts will open soon if they see more snow.  

The Mount Baker and Crystal Mountain ski resorts are opening Wednesday and Missing Ridge on Friday.
