PASCO, Wash.- A man accused of child molestation wants to act as his own attorney again.
Neftali Silverio Camacho, 29, is accused of inappropriately touching a young boy six years ago.
Prosecutors say the boy came forward after a jury convicted Camacho in 2010 for trying to lure young boys to his home.
Camacho represented himself for part of the trial. He served six months in jail.
In a rambling statement Tuesday, Camacho, told Judge Craig Matheson that his public defender was not acting in his best interests.
Defense attorney Shelly Ajax asked the judge to have Camacho reevaluated for mental competency.
