Octopus mural goes to U.S. Supreme Court

WALLA WALLA, Wash. - The battle over Walla Walla's purple octopus mural is not over yet.

The Union-Bulletin is reporting that Bob Catsiff plans to ask the U.S. Supreme Court to consider his plea, to keep the giant mural that is painted above his inland octopus toy store on Main Street.

The City ordered Catsiff to take down the mural in 2010, but Catsiff claimed the City violated his free speech rights.

The State Supreme Court decided not to review the case last month.

Catsiff's attorney will file the request in January.
