Benton County one of 8 to receive bomb threats

SEATTLE (AP) - Authorities say eight county courthouses around the state received bomb threats, forcing evacuations and police searches.

Authorities say they do not know if Thursday's threats were coordinated. No devices were found at any of the courthouses.

Threats were made to Thurston, Chelan, Douglas, Benton, Adams, Clark, Pacific and Columbia counties.
