ELK VALLEY, British Columbia -- An Amber Alert has been canceled for a child who police say was abducted by his biological father in Elk Valley, British Colombia on Thursday afternoon.

The child, 3-year-old Alvin Barnett, was found safe in Montana this morning. No word on if the child's father, Robert Barnett, has been located.
