SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -

No need to remember the Titans. They are still playing in the 3A playoffs after making quick work of O'Dea in last week's opening round.

That was No. 5 in the state O'Dea.

After a 1-3 start at the beginning of the season, the Titans are rolling now. They are looking for a sixth win in a row in this Saturday's quarterfinals against North Thurston.

"That win [against O'Dea] because UHigh, apparently in the past, has not won an actual state playoff game," said receiver Austin Flynn. "Our team knew that going in and we decided to step up and make the change."

"I think without a doubt [the game against O'Dea] was our best game," said coach Rob Bartlett. "That's kind of our goal. We want to be playing better as we get into November, and that's what we're doing."

University will play North Thurston on Saturday at 5 p.m. in Spokane Valley. The winner of that game advances to play either Marysville-Pilchuck or Eastside Catholic.
