PROSSER, Wash - Prosser residents wanted to make their appreciation for veterans heard loud and clear, through a parade.
The "Thank You Vets" parade kicked off at 11 a.m. Monday near Keene-Riverview School and traveled throughout city streets. People stood by to celebrate, honor, and support current and former military members.
"We need to honor our veterans. They've suffered a lot in their life and they aren't getting a very good response. We love to honor our veterans," said Prosser resident Virginia Bradbury.
This is the 8th year for the parade.
