Part owner selling Suncadia Resort near Roslyn - NBC Right Now/KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA |

NEAR ROSLYN, Wash.-- A company that owns a number of resorts throughout the northwest, including Suncadia near Roslyn, is planning to sell them.

Jeld-Wen is selling its minority stake in the resort, which it built along with Lowe Hospitality Group.           

The company has not said why they are selling their properties, but the housing market has hurt them in the last few years.

They are also putting Silver Mountain Ski Resort up for auction early next year.

The ski area will stay open during the sale.
