509 Fitness enhancement fee trial dismissed

KENNEWICK, Wash., -- A Benton County judge has dismissed the trial for a man who allegedly stole from over 200 gym members.

Jason Sleater, the owner of 509 Fitness in Kennewick, was charged with 6 counts of 2nd degree theft.

The case was declared a mistrial in September and was set for re-trial this Thursday morning.  Sleater's lawyer represented him in court.

Sleater allegedly charged over 200 gym members a $19.60 'enhancement' fee and then closed the gym just days later without offering refunds.
